New Benchmark for Green Logistics
2026-04-10 00:00:00Sunlight to Value, Green Energy in Motion. Recently, Vailog China’s logistics network marked another milestone in green energy development—photovoltaic (PV) power generation projects at its logistics parks in Zengcheng (Guangzhou) and five locations across Zhejiang officially connected to the grid and commenced operation. By pioneering an innovative "rooftop PV + green logistics" model, we are pressing the "fast-forward button" on the low-carbon transformation of industrial real estate.
Concentrating Light to Generate Power: Five Parks Map Out a New Green Power Landscape
Transforming vast rooftops into "green oil fields"—behind this lies a set of impressive hard data. The five newly commissioned projects span core logistics hubs in South and East China, activating a cumulative rooftop area of over 210,000 square meters with a total installed capacity reaching 26.5 MW.
Two "super nodes" stand out in this green relay: Zengcheng Industrial Park in Guangzhou leads South China with 4.5 MW of installed capacity, delivering an average annual output of 5 million kWh of green electricity; while Ningbo Logistics Park in Zhejiang, with its ultra-large scale of 11.6 MW, has become a regional benchmark for green energy, generating up to 12 million kWh annually.
When these PV panels operate efficiently, they will produce over 28 million kWh of clean electricity each year. What does this mean? It equates to reducing approximately 30,100 tons of CO₂ emissions annually—equivalent to planting over 745,000 trees in the wilderness. Though silent, these figures best attest to our commitment to fulfilling "dual carbon" (carbon peak and carbon neutrality) promises.
Value Realization: From "Rooftop Assets" to "Green Competitiveness"
Physical PV panels must ultimately translate into tangible strengths for business growth. For tenants in these parks, the project delivers direct benefits through a win-win of cost reduction and green electricity. A stable, clean power supply not only effectively stabilizes daily operational electricity costs but also helps tenants excel in stringent ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) assessments, directly empowering their supply chains’ green advancement.
From a macro perspective of industrial real estate, Vailog China has successfully validated a commercial closed-loop of turning "rooftop resources into energy assets." We are not just building warehouses; we are creating a replicable model for green renovation of existing parks.
Government-Enterprise Synergy: Efficient Collaboration Opens Up Green Channels
The smooth transition of such large-scale green infrastructure from blueprints to reality owes much to strong government-enterprise synergy. From approval support in the initial stage to accelerated acceptance during grid connection, governments in Zengcheng (Guangzhou), Jiaxing (Zhejiang), Yinzhou (Ningbo), and other regions have opened up "green channels" with their efficient, pragmatic work style. The deep integration of local governments’ forward-looking planning and our implementation execution capability has not only increased the utilization ratio of local clean energy but also provided a concrete policy template for the green transformation of logistics industry clusters.
Leading the Future with Intelligence: Reshaping Supply Chain Ecosystems via Sustainable Infrastructure
This simultaneous commissioning of five parks is by no means the end of Vailog China’s green journey, but a new starting point for deepening our focus on "sustainable supply chain infrastructure." Moving forward, we will follow the evolutionary path of "PV + energy storage + smart energy management," implanting this green gene into more parks. With parks as anchors, we will join hands with tenant partners and local governments to weave a low-carbon, efficient, and resilient supply chain network, contributing more "Vailog Practices" to the comprehensive green upgrading of China’s industrial real estate.
